A photo on ChromaLuxe is scratch-, moisture-, and UV-resistant. This makes it a perfect product for long-term use.
A photo on ChromaLuxe is created via sublimation. The sublimation process works as follows:
First, a photo is printed on paper using four shades of heat-sensitive ink. Next, this photo is placed in a special device, where the image is transferred into the coating of the aluminum plate using heat and high pressure. This is also known as heat transfer.
The ink actually evaporates within the coating due to the heat, resulting in an incredibly clear, vibrant photo on the ChromaLuxe metal prints.
