I am Kim, an award-winning dog photographer near Rotterdam. In my high-end studio in Oud-Beijerland, I employ an exclusive American concept that I introduced to the Netherlands four years ago. Since then, Motherpuppers has grown into the premier destination for exclusive dog photography in the Benelux, and dog owners travel from all over Europe to our studio for this unique experience. No experience needed.
Every type of dog is very welcome in the studio. From puppy to senior: your four-legged friend absolutely does not need to have any experience or know any commands. We believe that the most beautiful moments are created in complete freedom. That is precisely why your dog is given plenty of time to settle in calmly upon arrival, so that we can start the photoshoot in a relaxed manner.

  • On the 'book' , you enter your contact details and can also indicate which days you prefer. I will contact you as soon as possible after this!

  • We will set a date and time.
    After this, you confirm the booking by filling out the form that will be sent to you.

  • A week before the photoshoot, I will send you some tips and tricks to help you prepare as well as possible!

  • The supreme moment!
    Come to my beautiful studio and enjoy the photo session!

  • Within one week of the photoshoot, you will receive an online album from which you can choose your favorite images.
    Feeling overwhelmed by choice? No problem! It is always possible to purchase additional photos.

  • Within 4 to 6 weeks, your favorite images will be professionally and carefully edited.
    You will receive them digitally, and they are of high quality, making them suitable for large prints to hang on the wall!

  • Due to their high quality, the images are perfectly suited for wall decoration. Therefore, every package includes a discount to use when ordering your product. As many as 80% of the dogs that walk into my studio have never stood in front of a professional camera. Believe me: you are absolutely not the only one with a little healthy nerves beforehand.

With experience photographing over 1,000 dogs, I know as a professional dog photographer that truly every four-legged friend can shine. The best compliment I receive time and time again? When the dog owner says, full of pride and amazement: "Wow, he really did so much better than expected!"

My unique concept succeeds every time because I don't work with strict rules, but instead look purely at what your four-legged friend needs to feel comfortable. I take all the time needed to make a connection, so that together we can make it an unforgettable experience.

THE STUDIO

Just south of Rotterdam, in beautiful Oud-Beijerland (South Holland), you will find our unique studio, fully designed around your dog's comfort. No stress or hustle and bustle, but a safe, cheerful play area where we take all the time needed for your furry friend.

Coming by car? You can always park for free on our own premises.
And the best secret: right after the photo session, you can walk straight down the street for a lovely stroll in the beautiful nature reserve De Staart. Make it an unforgettable outing together!

  • Our photoshoots are all about love and fun! The dog walks off-leash and is completely at ease. Read all about Kim's approach on this page.

  • On the 'booking' , you can leave your details and I will contact you as soon as possible.

    You will also receive information regarding the photoshoot, and you can come to me with any questions you may have.

  • During the photoshoot, it is important that I, as the photographer, maintain the dog's attention and create as much calm as possible.
    For this reason, I recommend coming with a maximum of 2 people.

    Children are only allowed after consultation.

  • For a studio photoshoot, it is important that your dog is at ease.
    It is perfectly normal for your four-legged friend to want to sniff around and explore the surroundings first. He or she will be given plenty of time for this.

    During the shoot, he or she will work with me, and flashes will, of course, be used. These produce some sound as well as light.

    Is your dog anxious about meeting new people or spaces? Then I advise against a studio photoshoot.

  • Absolutely! We specialize in both energetic puppy shoots and calm senior sessions. In our studio near Rotterdam, we take plenty of time for every dog.

  • One of the most frequently asked questions!

    The answer: YES!

    Your dog doesn't need to be perfectly trained, know every command, or listen perfectly here.

    The only thing that matters is that your dog feels at ease.

    If he knows sit, down, or stay, that is helpful, as it naturally makes the shoot easier.

  • Absolutely, although the focus is on photographing the dog, at the end of the shoot you also have the opportunity to have your picture taken with your best friend.

  • Bringing a second dog is possible.

    This is only possible if the dog comes from the same household/family.

    An additional charge of €49.00 is added to the chosen package for this. (Max 2 dogs)
