Ugliest Dog of the Netherlands winner Cruella — **Cruella, the first winner of the Ugliest Dog in the Netherlands contest!**

We have received so many reactions; various media outlets such as AD, &C, LINDA, De Gelderlander, and Hart van Nederland have shared the news!

It is already a craze in America, but here in our little frog country, we hadn't done it yet. A contest for the Ugliest Dog in the Netherlands.

We count nearly 2 million four-legged friends in the Netherlands, and because we only see handsome dogs passing by, I was curious to see what else hops around in our small but busy country.
For the very first time in the Netherlands, I have set up the Ugliest Dog in the Netherlands contest.

Because in my opinion no dog is ugly, I hoped the owners would take this with a grain of salt. I went looking for unique, special dogs that might be labeled as ugly by our society, but are actually beautiful because of their unique appearance.

Cruella, the Chinese Crested, participated and was chosen by us as the very first winner.
She won a snack package from Avonturia, the largest pet store in the Netherlands, the golden cup, and a photoshoot at my studio.
